The Betting and Gaming Council (BGC) has introduced a new voluntary code that mandates risk assessments for customers depositing over £5,000 per month. Developed in collaboration with the GB Gambling Commission, the code aims to enhance safer gambling measures while eliminating intrusive document checks. The code will be implemented as an interim measure until the Commission’s frictionless checks pass the initial testing stage.
